Good Afternoon! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! Below is the schedule for the upcoming week:
I am putting a link for Scholastic and our class activation code in case anyone is interested in ordering Scholastic Boos for the holidays. Class Activation Code: Class Activation Code: MJ3B2
Also, students should be practicing their math facts for homework, weekends, or whenever they have a few minutes in the car. Please throw in a few minutes on weekends or whenever you have the chance to have your child build fact fluency. It will be SO much easier when they get to double and triple digit addition.
Below are the links to the flashcards they should be practicing. They are separated according to strategy. It will really help your child to know these facts autimatically as we move through the next couple of chapters in math. If you have trouble printing these out, you can write them up the good old fashioned way on index cards or shoot me an email and I will try to print them out for you.
Flash Cards Your Child Should Have Been Working on the Past Two Weeks:
Doubles - These flashcards are all the doubles. Memorizing doubles facts helps us with lots of other kinds of facts! From 1+1 all the way up to 20+20

Facts of Ten - These flashcards are all the combinations that make ten, including the subtraction facts.
